What a year.
So many firsts.
First time to graduate High School.
First time to move to California.
First time to build your own computer.
First time to work the gear at a play.
First shot. Followed by a second, then a third.
First time to eat at Bill’s. Bet it won’t be the last.
No. Not the first time for the air show.
You are away and I miss you.
So does your car. So alone now.
Covered in snow.
Next year your car will be with you
and you will be off on a new adventure.

Hopefully, you will watch for
warning signs
like ones that say “DO NOT ENTER”
Cross bridges. but look for ones with a full road.
Look for baby Yoda in never know when
he will be hiding in the plants.
